I have a downy bumfluffy upper lip. Paid £3 for the threading experience. Bloody hell it hurt but it was very quick.

I'm now wondering what state it will grow back in e.g. hairier than ever? Darker? Any shared experiences?

Well, at least it's Movember if it does grow back darker / hairier Grin.

Did you have to sit in front of everyone in a shop?

I am never getting threaded again, it's so fing painful! It didn't grow back any different from memory - I paid for eyebrows, lip and chin in Debenhams and did not like that experience, waxing is so much less painful!

Is your top lip a bit numb now? It just comes back the same, you won't he looking like Magnum P.I. In a few weeks.

I read the thread title and for some reason had a mental image of a plaited moustache...

No it just grows back the same, don't worry! My husband laughs like a loon when I make a waxing appointment at how I don't mind asking for a bikini wax in a normal voice but always whisper the upper lip bitGrin

Over time (bout 2 years) I'm sure mine has come back finer and thinner...

Had mine done the other day and the thread kept snapping. The lady said "hmmm, very strong hairs..." Yeah thanks for that.

On the plus side I've found a salon that does it so don't have yo get done next to the till in Superdrug or the cafe in Debenhams any more.
