Matalan - any recommendations

Just found a large Matalan near me - any recommendations of what is worth getting from there & what to avoid?

I love their long sleeved t- shirts. They wash well and keep their shape.

The cotton/modal tops are good as basics.

The Falmers bit in it do brilliant long, brushed cotton vests. They have lace around the bottom If, like me, you like your vest to go over your jeans..

Leggings - amazing. All sorts of colours and they are thick and keep their shape.

Another vote for the long sleeve tops. I have some going back 3 years and they're just starting to look it.

I bought these recently www.matalan.co.uk/product/detail/s2532711?id=S2532711&color=C270 and had skinny cords last year in navy and plum. They wash really well and hold their shape. This years ones feel like a velvet cord and are nice and thick. The website photos do them no favours - much better in the flesh.

Another one who loves the cotton\modal long sleeved t shirts.The very long vest tops are also brilliant and the zip front leggings are pretty good.Matalan is really good for nightwear for me , and for my kids.In fact the only thing we havn't liked so far are the kids opaque navy tights.

I bought all the school wear this year from there.

Love their homeware. Basic picture frames nice nick nack bits.

A few bits and pieces of ladies wear and basic work wear that I don't mind getting grubby.

I am currently wearing my new pyjamas from there. So cozy and good long length if you're tall. Underwear and thermals are good too.

Ooh! Standinonlego thats lovely!! I cant personally recommend but they had some lovely party dresses in there today; nice prom style ones if you like that style (I do!) very very reasonably priced. Want at least 3 of them!!
