This seems to pop up all over the place. Anyone recommend a good one?

I take it I can use it everywhere (skin, nails, hair) and also for cooking?

Well, you can buy it for culinary use, or you can buy it just for "beauty" use. I only use it on my nails, so have a little bottle I bought from a natural remedies shop. I wouldn't say it was food grade.

If you are planning to eat it, or do that yucky mouthwashing thing, you'd need a bigger pack.

EmGee, I think this one from Sainsbury's has been recommended here before.

I think that Coconoil has also been recommended.

I saw some at Holland and Barretts too recently.

I bought mine from our local health shop.

I've been using the Biona coconut oil in the kitchen- it smells amazing and melts really nicely. Tastes amazing too when used in cooking.

If you are just after something cheap for hair and skin, then superdrug do a tub that is under £3 and works perfectly well.

I found a biggish jar of organic, virgin coconut oil in Sainsbury's. The make is 'Groovy Food Company' and it was with all the other cooking oils. You can cook with it but, so far, I've only used it on my skin! I'm using it as a cleanser plus face and all over moisturiser. I have quite sensitive skin so have to be careful and this is fab - smells wonderful too. I've not tried the swishing it round your mouth thing yet.

It was £6.99 and you only need a bit so it lasts for ages. I've seen the same brand in Waitrose.
