Where can I find some for less than £60(!)?

Ideally fur-lined, "slide" style. Would like a pair for me and a pair for DS (size 5 adult). Can only find Ugg-type v expensive ones!

higgle · 20/11/2013 13:51

hope this link works Amazon

LemonEmmaP · 20/11/2013 13:56

I've had several pairs of these over the years Nordikas

lainiekazan · 20/11/2013 14:02

Second Nordikas. They are just what you say you are looking for. And the sole is incredibly hard-wearing. My last pair lasted ages until a visiting dog stole one and weed on it...

I have a pair on my Christmas list!

HomerPigeon · 20/11/2013 14:46

Thanks all. Will look at the links. Celtic Sheepskin lovely but too expensive!

Camper slippers. They are great, warm, sturdy and look good.

CeeceeBloomingdale · 20/11/2013 19:47

I have Emu Jolies which were under £20 in an Amazon sale.

Laska42 · 20/11/2013 21:40

third vote for Nordikas .. they are really great I on my third pair now and they last a good three years

MummyKanny · 20/11/2013 21:44

I've got some Shepherds which are looovely. Only slippers that keep my feet really warm. Think they sell them at Jones.

HomerPigeon · 22/11/2013 14:54

I like the Moshulu ones for me, good prices, but nothing suitable for DS (size 5, so not in men's yet). Where can you get good non-girly size 5 slippers! Celtic Sheepskin, Emu Jolie etc all lovely but over budget for slippers at £60+

Not furry but really thick and woolly with a Vibram rubber sole option, and they even do a kit so you can make your own. £30 to £50 ish. link here

I meant to say they make them to order so you can choose own your colours and sole. I like the Birkenstocks too they're also great for wide feet like mine.

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 26/11/2013 09:23

Nordikas are awesome.

I've just bought myself another pair, having had my first pair for about 6 years!

They are soooo toasty - and you can go outside to put the bin out in them.
I get the ones that enclose your foot completely because then there is no danger of slipping on the stairs carrying small children/laundry etc.

snowgirl1 · 26/11/2013 09:25

Last week Aldi had some hard sole slipperw with memory foam insoles for £4.89, but not furry lining. I only saw adult ones, but I wasn't looking for children's ones.
