Please help, crap skin

My 31yo skin is a disaster and since having 6mo DD I seem to have aged overnight. Have always been rubbish at skin care routines so could do with some suggestions for products or treatments (not too £££) that are easy and quick to apply and will suit my skin and help with the following annoyances:

  • Moderate acne scarring
  • Prone to chin breakouts
  • Large open pores on cheeks
  • Redness (poss broken veins??) that has suddenly appeared on cheeks

Will add that my skin is not especially oily or dry so I guess it's probably classed as 'normal' although it looks far from it!

TIA

  1. Hot cloth cleanser, any of them, morning and night

  2. Drink at least 2 litres of water a day, tea etc not included.

  3. Gp to check the redness isn't acne roseacea (sp)

I'd also say sleep helps but you might strangle me with a muslin.

Thanks Fluffy, will look into the cleanser and make an effort to drink more water. Might consult dr google about the acne rosacea to see if it looks similar to the redness I've got.

Oh and let's just say sleep is a sore subject at the moment so you'd be right re the muslin!

Have always been intrigued by the home peels but not sure whether they'd be too harsh or actually the kick up the backside my skin needs

I would be careful with the hot cloth if you have redness/rosacea.
