Pre-Xmas sales

When do these usually start? I am wondering whether to buy some bits now or hold off for a couple of weeks.

Would love to know too... Wondering if John Lewis are going to do any 10%/20% days as they normally do in the run-up to Christmas...

I'm wondering the same.Decided (after all the mind changing) to treat myself to a Barbour for Christmas (or a different coat I like) but not until the sales,something cheap will do in between!

John Lewis just do the specific Price match days in response to other retailers - usually Debenhams or House of Fraser. The benefit is that you can get free delivery from them or get it delivered to your local Waitrose.

BUT I would also recommend keep checking out their website for particular brands you like - they often either negotiate deals with the brands or price match whatever that brand is doing(there was 20% off on Barbour and North Face just last week)
