And despite being convinced I would come out an autumn, and was nodding along as the other participant blossomed under her autumn analysis, I've come out as a winter jewel. It's quite a deviation from my comfort zone, but am delighted to be able to wear so many icy colours, greys and navys (as well as the bright jewel colours, which may take a bit more adjusting). And I am totally in the market for some kick ass grey/black jeans.

I went to see a lovely local House of Colour consultant after reading on hear the fantastic advice others have received, and that given by hopefully and ?Travel in Colour. Actually, hopefully my consultant knows you fairly well (I think you're in the same team) and she was singing your praises.

So here starts the new way of dressing. I don't think I've been making too many major errors, but I'm really pleased to have confirmation of a large group of colours that work together. Quite tempted by the style day too, might think about that as a Xmas present perhaps...

Yay, yet another winter! Head over to the HOC Winter thread carrie, it's massive, loads of links to tempt you :) I wonder if winter is the commonest season, there's loads of us!

Thanks Elizabeth. I've been lurking on the autumn thread for a while, convinced that's what I'd be and getting ideas for how people wear it, so the winter thread will be an eye opener!

Hi carrie, yes do come and join us on the winter thread.

I'm doing the style day in December.

Hi QC [waves] have dropped off MNV of late as I've been avoiding clothes until I had this session, but will soon be tipping my bejewelled toe back in...

I'm quite intrigued by the style day: I like the idea of knowing EXACTLY what necklines/trouser lengths etc etc work. May ask for it for Xmas/birthday...

Hi carrie, tell me why did you think you were an autumn?
Being a jewel winter is a long ways away from that!

I'm asking as I've just had my hair coloured and I now look like Courtney cox's colouring and not like Jenifer anistons colouring anymore.

Blue grey eyes with green brown inside when pupil small, thick dark eyebrows and thick black lashes. Pale skin in winter, with green undertones, but quite tan in summer with honey highlights. Not much to no red in my hair.

I have no idea what season I am, but think I'm more of a winter than a summer. Could I be wrong?
