The Outnet Customer Services

Anyone had any dealings with this team?

I bought an Anya Hindmarch Maxi Satchel in February from them and the strap snapped off at the metal fastening yesterday - the metal has sheered in 2.

I'm getting increasingly peed off as I have emailed them twice now and heard nothing back.

Its not like I have even used the bag on a daily basis - i only save it for good.

Anya Hindmarch Customer Service have said its not their issue.

I say that I have bought a bag that allegedly is worth over £800 (yes - i bought it at a discount), for most of that time its resided in its dust bag and now the strap has broken and I can't use it anymore.

To say I am peed off is an understatement.

You would really expect it to last a touch longer than 9 months!

I have the same bag also bought from the outnet and it's lasted very well with daily use. So definitely should be repaired or replaced. I've never had a problem with customer service but always call when I've had an issue (rather than wait the few days for someone to email back).

How long since you emailed? I would call and if it's been over a week since you emailed complain about lack of response as well. I've had no problems replacing faulty items. With one dress they returned it to company for repair as the hem came down and it was too delicate for me to trust local dry cleaner to sort out!

Ended up ringing them.

I have to return it for assessment to see if it can be repaired.

Fingers crossed it can be.

I've heard that about mulberry.

Have a roxanne that's nearly 7 years old and looks like new. Friends who have more recent mulberry bags have said they wear badly.

But I didn't know that about anya hindmarch.

Have everything crossed that it can be repaired.

Thinking about it- did you pay on credit card, this gives you Addittional protection I understand over £100 spends

ChablisLover · 19/11/2013 21:11

Yes paid by credit card

Also citizens advice got back to me and said that the definition of reasonable is not laid out in the legislation but if expensive you could reasonably expect it to last a year.
