Help with jeans, please.

Can anybody help me find some jeans that are actually comfortable?

I am a size 14, trying to lose weight but meds make it hard. Seem to carry all my fat on my stomach.

Have ordered and returned about six pairs of jeans from next as the waistband on all of them cuts straight across my fat stomach and leaves a roll of fat over the waistband.

I really need jeans as they are staple work wear and offer a degree of protection that over trousers don't.

But where can I buy jeans that flatter a fat stomach..... Or am I deluding myself that they exist.... Oh and I haven't got much money with it being Xmas and having four kids so cheap as poss please!

Thanks

Have a look at Esprit as they do lots of different styles with different rises - I assume you'd find a higher rise more comfortable/flattering.

Primark do some nice jeans, very comfy and about £11. Might be worth a try. Smile

I"ve heard good things about Uniqlo too.

I prefer to wear good quality jeggings rather than jeans for this very reason.
I find the elastic waist much more flattering & comfortable.

Uniqlo super skinnies are amazing. High waist, super stretchy, never baggy. inexpensive and comfortable. Only disadvantage is that you will need to shorten them unless you are lucky enough to be 5'10".

Lol, unfortunately being 5'2" they may be a bit long.

That adds to the problem as I need short legged jeans..... Why is this so hard, have spent hours looking online today and still haven't found any that a, match my specifications and b, don't cost a small fortune.

Thanks for the suggestions everybody.
