Hair Colour Disaster, Where do I Stand?

Asked for a MID brown all over tint with caramel hi lights and the tint is almost black so the hi lights now look grey!

Strangely, in the salon it looked ok but when I got home I realised the hairdresser had coloured it too dark. Salon was closed by then and they won't re-open till Tuesday.

Am I entitled to any come-back?

Said hairdresser is lovely and has coloured my hair many times before successfully.

If its your normal hairdresser and you rate her I imagine if you go back on Tuesday she'll just correct it. I think you might well have legal comeback but it doesn't sound as if you'll need it as the problem should be corrected simply through good customer service.

Daft question but have you washed it since? If so does it still look too dark?

It's amazing how much difference the lighting in the salons to outside/ home lights make to our coloured hair.

If you are still unhappy I would ring the salon & explain that when you got home and had a proper look you realised the colour was indeed not what you asked for. See what they say, as a loyal customer I image they wouldn't want you to be unhappy. Good luck.

Yes, I washed it twice with shower gel (thought it might strip the colour ) as soon as I got home!

Went to see some friends today who all said they liked it and its just a matter of getting used to it.

Will phone salon on Tuesday and see how the land lies but I don't feel half as bad about it as I did earlier!

Seeing it in the sunlight made it seem a tad lighter too.
