here

I can no longer think for myself. Trying to make myself more put together. Generally live in jeans and fleece. Can only seem to do frumpy...

Crutchlow35 · 16/11/2013 18:42

Horrid. Sorry.

Cherrypie32 · 16/11/2013 18:43

Sorry but that scarf is not going to help on the frump front.

I don't like it I'm afraid & it seems I've got more scarves than anything else.

Do you want a scarf to wear with your fleeces?

notanyanymore · 16/11/2013 18:45

Sorry, I'm with the others. Its not nice.

Cherrypie32 · 16/11/2013 18:45

www.next.co.uk/women/accessories/hats-scarves/11
The ones on this page are more daytime and casual if that's what you're after and shopping in Next.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 16/11/2013 18:46

Sorry, Autumn, but it is not nice.

TondelayoSchwarzkopf · 16/11/2013 18:48

It doesn't look cosy either. I like to snuggle into a scarf (formal, daytime, dressy or otherwise) but I would be worried about getting scratched by the embellishment.

threepiecesuite · 16/11/2013 19:00

Its horrid.
For mega snuggliness and no chance of wearing it 'wrong', consider a snood.

Rosencrantz · 16/11/2013 19:02

Dreadful. Sorry.

ThePorpoiseOfStupidity · 16/11/2013 19:11

I don't like it either sorry op. I bet a bit of the embellishment would fall off not long after you bought it too.

At least it's wool. I'm so over seeing modal, viscose and polyester scarves.

OP - do you like any of the scarves at Massimo Dutti? Many of theirs are wool, or a wool mix.

HyvaPaiva · 16/11/2013 19:25

Another no, sorry.

Bexicles · 16/11/2013 19:32

No sorry but I do like this scarf from Next oversized with pom poms. www.next.co.uk/g493222s5

Allthingsprettyreturns · 16/11/2013 19:55

Look at the price!! Take your money to TK Maxx and get several nice scarves!

letsgotostonehenge · 16/11/2013 19:58

horrible, dr who wouldn't even wear it!!!

Jbck · 16/11/2013 20:36

Autumn, what are you looking for in the scarf? Is it functional, cosy, fun, less frump?

It is ugly and I'm not one to be particularly blunt but if I save a fellow MNetter from that scarf then I'm justified. Grin

ginslinger · 16/11/2013 20:41

No it's not

SlightlyDampWellies · 16/11/2013 20:41

Oh, I like it.

Oh dear.

Corygal · 16/11/2013 20:44

Frightful. It's JUST out of fashion, which makes it that extra bit worse than most styles.

On the upside, you'll get something lovely for the same - or less - cash at TK Maxx.

MissScatterbrain · 16/11/2013 20:46

No.

Snoods are perfect for those preferring the casual look (and much more practical too).

catinboots · 16/11/2013 20:49

Ugh

NearTheWindmill · 16/11/2013 20:50

Not sure how versatile it will be tbh.

EyeOfNewtBigtoesOfFrog · 16/11/2013 20:56

Nooooo. If you want a cosy winter scarf but to look less frumpy but still casual, I like Accessorize.
