Warm boots but less clumpy than Uggs

I've had Uggs before and they are the business in terms of warmth and comfort, but a bit too clumpy for me.

Are there any boots that will give the same warmth but a bit lighter/neater looking? Brown or black ideally.

uggs sell some lovely leather boots, more biker style/knee high etc that you wouldn't think were ugg but have sheepskin linings.

I have a pair of fleece lined knee high boots from next. I also have sheepskin soles for most of my winter boots, this makes them nice and toasty. these are just as warm and toasty s the genuine sheepskin ones I have www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Thick-10mm-Fabulous-Sheepskin-Comfy-Feet-Warm-Thermal-Unisex-Shoe-Insoles-/181248564160?pt=UK_Men_s_Shoes&var=&hash=item2a33419bc0

Any boot with a sheepskin insole does the trick.

I have these which are gorgeous and warm.

For some reason, Clarks market them with the tops turned down, which makes them look like granny boots, but with the top unfolded they come to lower-mid calf and look like a neater version of Uggs (I can't do the "bigfoot" look).

I find Emu boots a bit neater and more structured than Uggs :)

Same here on Emus. Casual but not scruffy. Have the knee length Stingers and I love them!
