Hand cream??

Someone posted about top beauty tips a month or so ago but I can't find it, and there was a recommendation for a hand cream beginning with E that transformed that ladies life! Can anyone remember it?? The cracks are setting in now and the thought of going through another winter with horrid sore hands is not appealing! Have tried endless creams.....

was it eucerin?

Best handcream I've tried is bodyshop hemp.

WLmum · 14/11/2013 22:51

Don't know about that but hemp hand cream from the body shop is magical! I use it on my daughters eczema hands after it was recommended by a gp.

LittleTulip · 14/11/2013 23:28

L'occitane shea butter and body shop hemp

Vikki88 · 14/11/2013 23:39

Sorry I can't help with what you're after but wanted to agree that Body Shop hemp is amazing!

phoolani · 14/11/2013 23:45

Pushing it, but Crabtree & Evelyn? There's an e in there somewhere! They do a hand scrub/moisturiser duo kit which is positively amazing. Makes your hands look photoshopped.

Neutrogena fab.
Gloves in a bottle (yes really) forms a barrier. Then hand cream on top.
Sorry. Not what you asked for!

Someone recommended Flexitol hand cream about a month ago. I went out and got some in Boots and it is brilliant. I normally get cracked hands in winter and this stuff is working a treat.
I second the hemp body shop one but flexitol smells nicer.

Bunbaker · 15/11/2013 06:33

I find that the Bodyshop hemp makes no difference on my hands.

JemimaPuddle · 15/11/2013 06:37

I'll second flexitol, great stuff.

AllOverIt · 15/11/2013 06:46

Garnier Hand Repair had maple sap in it and is awesome!

www.amazon.co.uk/Elizabeth-Arden-Intensive-Moisturizing-Treatment/dp/B00375L8RO

Good price as £25 in Boots.

Agree with body shop hemp, but if your hands are really bad then I have to say that having tried a LOT of hand creams (in all price ranges including vv expensive), the best one by a mile is Aveeno Hand Cream at £5 a tube. Miracle.

Pascha · 15/11/2013 07:24

I was coming on to say Aveeno too.

gd1976 · 15/11/2013 09:30

Brill thanks everyone!! It was flexitol, god knows why I thought it started with an e!! But will also try hemp and aveeno too, thank you Smile

Try a sample of the hemp first though. It's a good cream but smells minging (and like a 1980s student bedroom the afternoon after a 'session').

The smell hangs round and fights with every perfume I use.

AlwaysSleepingBeauty · 15/11/2013 11:10

I've been using the Dr Organic Rose Otto hand cream from Holland and Barratt, it's been great on my super dry hands and smells lovely.

Littlepumpkinpie · 15/11/2013 12:31

Another vote for gloves in a bottle. I used Neutrogena in thepast but it stopped working for me so now I find if I switch hands creams around a bit my hands are much better.
