help me stop feeling hideous about by double weird hip

I have such a weird body shape. Posted about it before, my hip goes out, in and out again. Anything remotely clingy (even jeans) shoes the shape. The odd thing hides it, but it seems to have become more noticeable so hardly anything I wear seems to hide it anymore.

I'm toying with the idea of just going with it, and bearing my odd shape to the world. Anyone else have this shape and just thought "fuck it"?

I hate it so much and have hidden it for years but its getting so hard to find outfits I'm sick of liv ing I'm the same stuff. I'm half wondering if I can create some shape wear that fills in the indent!

Yup, I have 'the shape'.

It competes for my body self hatred with the mum tum I acquired after having DD.

All in all I look weird from the front, and weird from the side.

Bigbrassband · 14/11/2013 21:50

Is it like saddlebags? I think I a lot of people have this problem

Pompbear · 14/11/2013 22:02

Me too fumbles :-(

I don't know if its saddlebags. I have a nice waist, but then a monstrosity.

Not even spanx hides it anymore.

My hips are sort of 3 shaped. Out,in,out. I 'd be happy just to have huge hips. It's tje "in" bit I HATE

What size are you ? When I'm heavier( post babies ) I have I bulgy bit that goes out again. I hate to say it but it goes when I'm thinner .

KateShmate · 15/11/2013 14:27

Yes yes yes, I have this too!

ArtemisatBrauron · 15/11/2013 14:58

I have this too - it has gotten much better since I started running and toned up, now I'd say it is only noticeable if I point it out whereas before it was HUGE. Grin

I recommend - running, the Shred and, more importantly, uniqlo thermal heat-tech tights. Those bad boys sucked mine right in.

You have my hips!! I'm a ten, do a lot of exercise. 21% body fat (not to shabby for an oldie) but it's mostly on the hips in a very sticky out way, with a little extra padding on my stomach. I think I see my hips as bigger than anyone else sees them, as they were still there in my 8st days. I avoid dresses as I may as well carry giant arrows pointing at them! I have always found separates to be more flattering. I need to get over it.

Thants · 15/11/2013 19:46

That's just a body shape nothing to do with weight. A lot of women have it, if your pear shaped you usually will. It doesn't look bad! Just wear whatever.
