Spanx/support wear

I really want to splash out on a shapewear/spanx type of thing to hold my post kids tummy in One of the styles had arm straps and round the front, fitted under the bra, but surely this means you literally have to strip if you need to go to the toilet?

Alternatively, there is the one with just firm tummy controll, but does the top 'lip' of it roll down or produce a type of muffin top half way up the torso?

Also is Spanx the only way to go or are there other brands, just as good?

Spanx are very good-I have the higher power and super higher power ones and they don't roll down. They go from mid thigh to bra band level and ime are fairly comfortable. They also have a flap arrangements at the gusset so you don't have to remove them to go to the loo

I love my super higher power spanx. Maybe I'm rubbish at it, but I can't use the gusset pee pee hole without, erm, having a wet patch. So I take them off like knickers when going to the loo.

There are actually people that can pee through that thing??!!

how do you know what size to get? needs to be comfy but also to actually suck you in as well

There is a size guide on back of packet. I'd buy the Super Higher Power ones in the size for your height.
