Doh! Wrong foundation

I stupidly picked up the wrong foundation in Boots on sat and only realised when I got it home. Took it back today and they now have a new policy to not exchange cosmetics unless faulty.
Balls! £15 I cannot afford to waste.

Maybe sell iy on ebay?

Kick up a fuss, that must be a very new policy if it's right. Boots are excellent at returns normally ime.

ooh perfect chance for me to vent; boots are good at refunds/exchanges before and after this event; bought a lady shave was rubbish and hurt tried to return it as unsatisfactory assistant not forthcoming brought a manager who tried to tell me it was an epilator so would be uncomfortable no love I'm good with epilators finally exchanged it (happily paid the difference) then the next time I came in the manager said to her colleague "here, see that girl? She wanted to change this shaver that was totally fine....." I didn't want to hear any more and since then she always looks at me funny when I shop there often

I don't normally advocate lying (whiter than white me) but take it back and say you had an allergic reaction to it. They should refund it in full. I did this with a mascara about a fortnight ago as it had wee fibre things in it and made my eyes water like hell.

Then you've got the money to go and buy the right shade.

Take it back to a different Boots I meant to say...

Ha! I removed the squirty thing, put the lid back on, back in the box. Took it back and got a full refund.
Naughty but gotta be done when you're skint! Just gotta go get the right one tomorrow.

And thanks for the offer cjbk, I think it might be too dark for me though.

Go back to another boots and say it brought you up in a rash.

I have never had any problem returning anything.
