On a really tight budget, maybe £25 if possible? I'm 5'7" and a size 16 hourglass.

I've looked at youtube for hair and makeup but all the online vintage shops seem so expensive. Who would like to help me?

Kate Moss for Rimmel red lippy in shade 111 - Kiss Of Life is really a pretty good vintage red. There's a deeper red in the range too - not so good on me but nice enough. Maybe shade 01, can't remember.

Drawn-on-with-eyeliner stocking seams will save you a fortune on proper seamed stockings - as per period

Their cotton stuff is fine, not the best quality but well cut. IME their synthetic dresses are best avoided - tried this, it's cut rather nicely too but in a fabric that's totally inappropriate for that sort of pattern, IYSWIM.

Oooh, this is a tenner over budget but started at 54. I love it but it might not be a colour you like. To my mind slightly unusual shades tend to look pricer than yer run of the mill ones...

I loooooove the third one, the red is amazing. I can't wear black (I'm an autumn) and I look like death in black and I would definitely wear the red one again.
