Just wondering if anyone has any experience or comments about M &S 's own range of skincare (Formula stuff). It's just I was mooching around and saw it - quite reasonably priced and a few items of 3 for 2 -and it seemed nice, BUT I've never seen it mentioned on MN and I do rely on S&B for advice and recommendations :) and wouldn't dream of buying it without asking here first :) !!

They gave me a sample of one of their creams (unhelpfully, can't remember which one) I really liked it. Expensive though.

I haven't tried any myself but have heard the neck cream is very good - sorry that's not very helpful!

Thanks for the replies :) I think I'll go back and buy just one cheap thing to try first and see what I think. Thanks again, though

Yes, used the formula one for the first time about 2 months ago, bought a day and night cream and it came with a free serum. I've only used the day cream so far as I still have some no7 protect and perfect night to use. I really like the day cream, feels quite light and absorbs well but it rich enough for my skin so that I dont dry out. I'm 43 and use the 40+ one. So yes, I can recommend it.

Ooh Sali Highes just recommended the mask - one minute mask, or something?

I got a couple of eye cream/ gel in the sales.
They were in a rollerball type of packaging, I took them on holiday.
Skin Defence or something. One grey, one lilac

I used to love the perfume they did about 15years ago.
Frosted bottle, used to be a flat oval shape, then changed to a tall cylinder.

Face Formula or something. White with blue writing in a oval.
The shower gel and face scrub and body scrub were gorgeous ....Smile

Thanks for the replies - got to admit though, I went "berserk" yesterday and ordered some Pro-Collagen Marine Cream from Elemis for £70ish :) - I don't know what came over me, think I was having a bad day Blush just hope it's good!

70 was it Isis?

Berry blast, buy your elemis from qvc. At midnight there is an elemis tsv. You get 30ml of pro col mar cream and loads of other stuff (100 quids worth) for about 40 quid! I would never pay full price for elemis.

BerryBlast · 16/11/2013 14:45

Thanks boodles (what's a tsv?). Do you find it a good cream?

Personally I prefer decleor, but I know lots love elemis. Tsv stands for today's special value, qvc do one every day. Tomorrows is elemis :)

Hi! Yes, I love the Formula SPF day cream for 40 year olds. Love it. I'm not a big beauty boffin, to be honest, though.

bunnymother · 16/11/2013 16:40

Oh god, look how slow I was to find this post - sorry.
