help with bra size

nearlyfinisheduni · 12/11/2013 09:20

I have recently lost some weight and all my bras are too big, especially the band size. If I measure 33.5 under bust and 42.5 around the bust what size do I need and wheres the best place to buy?
thanks!

Try a 32GG/H and a 34G/GG for starters.

On the high street, Bravissimo are by far the best for this range of sizes although Debenhams, JL and HoF do stock them too.

Have a read of this to find out about getting the band right before sorting out the cups.

thanks! I bought a 34F from M and S and that seems to fit ok?

so wouldn't a G/H be too big in the cup?

A 32G has the same cup volume as a 32FF so wouldn't be huge.

Have you tried the 34 on back to front to see how far from your body you call pull the band? M&S bras are pretty inconsistent size wise so I wouldn't worry too much about what size you are there. They don't do FF or GG so their G cup is really an FF!

Do you scoop?

hi I can pull the band away from my body, is it too big? I do scoop!

If you can pull the band more than 2" then yes, it's probably too big. Try a 32 in a bigger cup and you should find it gives more support.
