Costco Kirkland style 'ugg' boots, do they stretch loads?

Very nice & my normal size, although they do feel very snug on, but after reading some reviews, some people have sized down by 2 whole sizes! Really? Do ugg style boots stretch that much?!

Morning bump! Or indeed any style ugg boots, just unsure whether I should downsize to a 5 rather than my normal 6?

They should feel a little snug to start with, as the sheepskin will bed down. I generally buy the equivalent of a 5 (I'm a 5-6).

Haven't got Kirkland ones for myself, though. DD has some and they seem true to size.

Normal size will be fine just don't buy them too big.

Sorry meant to add that I bought a pair a size small a couple of years back and ended up putting my toe though them as they weren't my real size.

I have some. I recommend sizing down if you are on the smaller end for your shoe size and getting your normal size if you are on the bigger end of your size.

Thanks for the feedback!

They feel like I've got a smaller size on, but not uncomfortably, so I think I should be okay with them. When I was trying them, there was another couple of ladies looking at them & one of them had her last pair for a good few years and was still going strong and she was saying how great they were & I asked her what they were like in the rain to which she replied, 'I've worn these in the snow!, no problems!'

I've never really liked 'Uggs' as such I have to admit but these ones I like as they are just plain with no labels/names iuswim?.

I just bought a couple of pairs for the DDs - the children's ones are an absolute bargain at £18.99 and go up to size 5.

I bought their regular size, and they fit well, but both are still growing, so I'm not that bothered if they stretch a bit (the boots, I mean, not the DDs Grin ).

MooMinCow · 12/11/2013 18:22

Ooh OP did they have the UGG style slippers in? I got a pair a few years back and they're falling apart now!

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 12/11/2013 21:21

My DD got the ladies size 4 last year and they had stretched a bit but so have her feet.

Then they had then in adults size 6 and up
Childrens up to a 5

She tried the 5, said they were far too small.
Tried the 6 and said they were fine (she wears with bare feet)

I have no idea if she just wanted the Ladies ones because she now wears womens clothes so doesn't 'see' herself in childrens shoes.

Or if there had been an adults 5 , if they would have fitted? Adults shoes are a different fitting than childrens
But she's delighted (and growing)

Oh, and I give them a good blast of a waterproofer from Blacks. She's worn her Kirkland Boots (she's had them each year for the last 5 years or so) and she wore them in London in a blizzard a few years ago.
Dry and toasty feet.

CointreauVersial · 12/11/2013 22:18

70isa, my DDs will be in kid's clothes as long as possible as I don't want to pay VAT unless I have to!
