Jeans and wellies combo

Now the weather has turned, I need to start wearing my wellies when I take the kids to the park and walk the dog etc. I tend to live in jeans but whenever I put my wellies on, my jeans bunch up and spill over the top of them and I look silly.

I observe others, wearing the same combo and they look really stylish, with no over spill! What am I doing wrong? Is it my jeans ( bootcut) or do they Sellotape their jeans to their legs?

Please help!

Its your jeans - the only ones that go nicely in wellies are skinnies

I wear boot cut, and live in wellies. I just kind of wrap my jeans round my legs first then put my boots on and they stay in fine.

I don't look great in skinnies, but they are the most practical for tucking into boots or wellies.

You could try a pair of straight leg jeans or the jeggings in m&s are quite nice, especially for the park etc

Wellies always look good with skinnys.

Failing that, wrap the legs round at your ankle, pull socks over, then wellies.

Or leg warmers work

I usually wear skinnies, but if I'm wearing wider leg jeans, wrap them around my ankle and pull my welly socks over the top.

It is a bit uncomfortable though, sometimes the extra fabric digs in iyswim. I usually just wear skinnies

Just as you did as a child. Grab centre crease (yes my DM did iron creases in my jeans) and twist to the middle.
