Dior bronzer dupe ?

Is there such a thing ?

The girl on the Dior counter in my local Boots (which I'm never out of) told me I was looking a wee bit pasty today (she was right) and plonked me down in the seat to put some of this bronzer on me.

It was absolutely bloody gorgeous. Not orange, not really powdery just made me look like I'd had a week in the sun and was all healthy and glowly. Then came the hard bit - it's 37 quid !

Can I get all glowly and look like I've had a week in the sun for closer to a tenner ? Or am I on to plums. Currently using the Soap and Glory bronzer but now think it's a bit meh....

Too Faced has a lot of bronzers - I've not tried them myself, but I have heard many good things about them.
Benefit and Mac should also have some good ones.

OneLittleLady · 07/11/2013 15:09

Benefit does have a good one, I just can't remember the name of it. You could ask at the benefit counter if you have on and if not, a look on there website should throw it up

Benefit hula?

Maverick66 · 07/11/2013 15:53

I would stick with Dior. In my experience bronzer cannot be skimped on unlike blusher or lipstick these you can buy budget such as Sleek from Superdrug.

Think I'll need to stay pale and interesting then. Dior and Benefit are both out of my budget at the moment !

The boujois one is quite nice as a cheaper alternative. Guerlain is my favorite.

what about rimmel? They do lovely sun kissed items especially in summer...might be worth a look. Try eBay too.
the original factory shop and tk maxx sell some excellent make up brands for next to nothing.

Thanks gaggia - I've never had much luck with Rimmel's bronzer tbh. Either too glittery or too orange. I don't like sparkle in my bronzer and need a matte one as I have oily skin so don't need added shine Grin
