Okay, so it's about 5 weeks since I used colour b4 to get rid of the dyed dark brown on my hair. Initially it worked, took me to a gingery light brown, but gradually over the following couple of days, it returned to its previous dark colour by itself.
About a week later I applied a permanent colour ( I know I probably shouldn't off but I was desperate!) in a very light, golden copper colour). The result was dark hair! Anyway I found out about a vitamin c & shampoo mix & how it strips colour from hair. I gave it a go & wow it worked, I was back to the coppery stage what colour b4 gave me.
So, last week, 4 weeks after colour b4 (I'm trying to achieve an intense bright copper colour) I put on the intense feria colour in mango, thinking it should be fine to use a permanent colour now, but again my hair turned darker! So once again I did the vit c mix. The colour I'm used isn't exactly dark, very bright, light gingery. My hair at the moment is like a auburn colour.
So why is it when I put a colour on it just turns dark? Is it something to do with the colour B4? It shouldn't be reacting like that after 4 weeks? I'm hesitant now to put any colours on. I'm wanting a nice rich bright auburn colour, but its all patchy at the moment with lighter roots. I don't mind waiting until nearer Xmas to do it but even then it may come out dark.
Have seen those Shwarzkopf ultra brights, the semi permanents, the one in firey copper (orange one!) I wonder if I use some of that through the lengths it may brighten my hair up or will it just not show anything?
