I am about to order some pj's for DS. What are their clothes like? Are there any good basics for mums to pick up? Or is it all rubbish?

I buy quite a bit from there and its quite mixed in quality - basics are usually ok. I buy PJs most years for the kids from there and they are fine. Sizes can be a bit small so I size up as they also tend to shrink a bit in the wash (nothing from Matalan can ever be tumble dried seemingly Hmm!)

Ive got a 20% off code if you want it, spend over £25 though?

TollgateDebs · 06/11/2013 20:17

I buy from everywhere, from Primark to Jaeger, preferring to buy what I like and what suits and often price and marketing budget is no indication of style or quality in my opinion. I have a number of items from Matalan and have never experienced shrinking, unlike M & S cotton tops recently purchased. I have some great shirts, very like Boden and all have survived well. I never tumble dry anything though!

Matalan are very short if you have a long body, most tops are far too short for me.

TeaAndCake is that a code that more than one person can use? If so I would be very grateful as I have my eye on a £50 dress in their new range! Smile

Thankyou.

I'd love your 20% off voucher teaandcake, if that's okay? I need to get some stuff for dc's!

toucancancan · 06/11/2013 20:47

If you go instore they have flyers with codes for £10 off a £25 shop.

TeaAndCakeOrDeath · 06/11/2013 21:16

Im not sure if it can be used more than once - its NEW558MN if you want to try?

I buy mostly basics.I can really recommend the long sleeve modal/cotton crew necked t's and the very long vest tops.I wear these every day and wash and tumble dry
them uneventfully.Zip front leggings are good and most trousers are fine.Pyjamas are really good and pretty looking. The Falmer range also has some good pieces.dd really dislikes the kids tights though.I would recommend you size up for the kids pyjamas as sizes are generally on the small side.

I got a spotty dress from there recently which I love. It's a great shape for bigger boobs and flattering
