Recommendations for strapless bra please?

I have never had any luck with strapless bras - they either don't 'lift' my boobs high enough (so may as well not bother wearing one) or else they drag and flatten my boobs to my chest - not a good look.
I have a formal do to go to at the end of November and am going to try again to find a bra to go under my dress. Needs to be nude coloured and I am usually a size 32E or 32F. Any recommendations on where to start looking please?

Wonerbra Ultimate is fab. Amazing in fact. The sizing is off though so you'll need to try them IRL to get a proper fit.

Gawd…. the wonderbra website has a size finder which takes my measurements of 32"under bust and 38" bust and tells me I need to buy a 36B??????? Surely that can't be right?

No I don't think that's right . I have up on it because it didn't fit that well . Can you go to a department store late night shopping and try them?

Wonderbra ultimate also known as the the five fingers bra is the best bra none. As said above it really is one that you should try on before buying. It gives you fab support and cleavage without any flattening. I wouldn't buy any other strapless bra.

I'm a 30GG and have this bra in a 32G. I'd suggest trying a 34F.

Yup... Wonderbra ultimate, survived a whole day walking and sightseeing with only minimal hoiking.

I'm the same size as you but don't particularly like cleavage, which I presume the wonderbra provides?
I have found Debenhams Gorgeous range very good. Stays in plays and gives me shape when needed under a strapless number, without giving me too much cleavage.

Just to show how fab this bra is, in summer I wore tiny strappy tops and a few friends were wondering if I had a boob job. Nuff said.

Isla it doesn't thrust them together to give that fullsome/ cleavage look just a natural lift but low enough to wear tops with a low cut.

Ah ok kaumana that's interesting to know, I shall check out the range next time I am shopping.
I haven't worn Wonderbras for years since I was a teenager looking for more 'thrust', now I'm an old gimmer I have to be a bit more refined :o

I have just bought one. I am 30D properly measured but I bought 34B as the smaller bands were just too tight.

I'd agree with up a band down a cup as a start point. It's head and shoulders above everything else imo but yes as per usual the size chart is bollocks!

Wonderbra Ultimate is fantastic - your boobs won't move! But it is very tight fitting around the body; it's the only bra that I have to whip off as soon as I get home.

Cointreau I'm sure your OH would be quite happy with that scenario
