Fake fur coat/jacket

Please can anyone help me with my search for a fake fur coat or jacket? I have tried on loads but none seems right - mostly too bulky or Honey Monster-ish. I think I'd like a black one, but open to anything really as long as not too Pat Butcher-ish. I'm 5' 8" and a size 12 and the coat has to be long enough to cover my bum. Budget under £100 - thank you.

I bought one from marks recently... I feel a bit like I'm channelling pat butcher in it but I see that at part of its appeal [big grin]

New look has some nice ones. I got a short leopard print one-leopard is a neutral in my book!-for £40 they had it in black and cream too. They also had a lovely brown one in a longer length for £60.

I also just bought the Lady Leona coat in leopard print from Collectif which is a longer length-you can never have too much leopard print in your life!

h&m had one not sure of price though I just had a feel as I walked past!

Thank you - I especially like the Collectif one (I've never heard of this shop but I work in that area so may pay a visit...) In the meantime I've ordered this one which came back into stock in a 10 & 12 and will see how I get on.... Leopard Fur Coat I know from the reviews that it won't be nearly as long on me but will see.

Seems to be a lot more stock coming into the shops now that we are getting more into Autumn and Winter. Was at a retail park today and noticed New Look, Next and Matalan had some reasonably priced ones. Even supermarkets are selling them, I spotted a couple in Tesco and Asda. So would suggest to keep looking as there will be more choice of colours and styles over the coming weeks. Fur usually is a bulkier coat though, so a cut that suits is more important and the only way to find one that fits the bill is to keep trying them on. I struggled to find one I liked last year, but have found two this year (different colours and pattern) and ordered both for choice and ended up keeping them as both cost under £50 each, which was ok for something that is a 'fun' coat rather than an investment buy. The short M&S one, as posted by FiremanSam, is gorgeous - I came on to recommend it. It comes up huge though, with Mr Tickle sleeves.

Most I've seen are hip length. Saw one today in h&m that would cover bum - the grey one for £29.99 this
