Warm, waterproof but light jacket/ coat

Just that - a warm, waterproof but lightweight short coat / jacket. Does it exist?

That describes my North Face jacket.

It's not wildly stylish but it's waterproof, windproof, warm and very light.

What 'name' North face jacket please?

I think it was the Upland one, but not completely certain. It was about that price, but worth every penny - it's on its second year after a cold wet winter and looks like new. To be fair I think most of the North Face ones are a good bet. I just ran into the Covent Garden branch one day when the heavens opened and my crap jacket was soaked through, and bought one that was light and dry.
