My feet are always cold

What socks should I wear that don't add too much to the bulk?

I swear by merino socks by Falke, they're a little pricey but well worth it.

ErrolTheDragon · 06/11/2013 12:49

I tend to sod the bulk with boots, wear a thick pair over a thin pair and size up!

Have you tried wearing two thin pairs?

jennimoo · 06/11/2013 15:35

I got sheepskin insoles last winter which help a bit, although only really for into boots so not much help.
I have rubbish circulation and permanently cold feet so will be watching for ideas...

HeyLuciani · 06/11/2013 16:14

Me too, always cold. I like the sheepskin insoles too and have also just bought some Celtic Sheepskin slippers which have cheered me up no end! I find that wool based socks are better than cotton - got lots of angora socks which are not too bulky. Cotton socks always make my feet feel cold and clammy, don't know why as I don't have sweaty feet generally? Don't have this problem with wool socks. Might just be me though.....Confused

Those Celtic Sheepskin slippers look AMAZING!!EnvyEnvy
I am going to try the sheepskin insoles but my DH just came back from a business trip and I've tried the flight socks he got and they feel nasty but are really really warm!!

There are sheepskin slippers HERE with up to 60% off. Not Celtic, but similar. I have 2 pairs from Celtic and they are fab, but have ordered a pair of these too.

I second the insoles suggestion, and the merino socks one.

I struggle to find a pair of shoes that I can wear sheepskin insoles with - they are really bulky! Am going to get some merino socks, thank you!

IDismyname · 07/11/2013 17:14

I've bought a couple of pairs of cashmere and silk socks from my local Waitrose - cannot seem to find online for you, but worth a look if you have a store nearby. They're about £7 a pair

YY to Celtic slippers. I have a pair that you slide on with no backs to them. Magic!

IDugUpADiamond · 08/11/2013 06:40

I did not find anything suitable yesterday Sad. Today I'm going to try Clinique.

I know what you mean snowlike, I can't fit my sheepskin insoles in my new boots :(
