Need to get some thicker bottom layers as our house is freezing.

Do they come up small, so should I order a size up?

Yes!! Grin

I agree. They are quite stretchy, but I sized up.

I bought my OH the long johns - I wasn't sure if he was going to wear them, especially if they were tight, but he's been fine with them and they are comfortable.

I don't think they come up small, it is just that they are designed to be worn tight against the skin. I am a size 12 and I get a Medium.

I don't think they come up small either, they are quite generous.

ihatethecold · 06/11/2013 13:39

The leggings come up big,
The tops are ok, I bought a medium and I'm a 12

No, not small, just fitted - I'm a 14-16 and large is fine for me. Only size up if you want it to look a bit loose.

NB I was in sainsbo's today and bought a black heattech-style top, it's called active heat I think. It's lovely.

Lady I've just compared them, they're almost exactly the same, heattech just half a cm longer. (This is a heattech large and sainbos size 16.)

I'm with you, I would like more length but I find them OK. I have one M&S equivalent and the body and arm length are too short, heattech are much better.

BeginnerSAHM · 06/11/2013 16:17

Hi - I'm an 8 (or 6) on top and find xs rides up too much. Starts off ok but rides up quickly. Small is perfect for me - not loose at all.

HeyLuciani · 06/11/2013 16:21

I have the small uniqlo, I am an 8 but a bit norky so often get 10 tops. Agree that Uniqlo are better body length than M&S - I am short, so length is not usually an issue, but the M&S tops do ride up a bit if you have any hint of a muffin top.

They are really small - I am a 12 and the Large just about does (and rides up like a bastard - I hate it). The body length is just not long enough.
