Bra help

I measured myself using the new way this weekend and went out and brought a new bra - it was a very confusing experience and I'm still not sure I've got the right size! The bra I'm wearing is feeling quite uncomfortable on my shoulders - do I just need to loosen the straps or just this mean I've brought the wrong size?

I tried on about 5 different sizes and I'm not convinced I've got it right.

My back measurement is supposed to be 30" but the ones I tried were so tight they gave me horrible rolls of fat so I went up to a 32". the measurement over my boobs really confused me - should the tape be loose or tight? It could possibly be anything from 34" - 36" depending on how tight you pull the tape. I went with 32" under and 35" across and brought a 32C whereas I was previously wearing a 34B.

Ok, on those measurements you really should be trying a 30E. The 30 you tried was too tight because the cup was much too small.

I tried a 30 D and a 30DD - I really didn't like the band at all, I had bulges everywhere

Ok, what make? Did you scoop? You really need a 30E, possibly an F to get rid of those bulges. If you try a 30 on back to front, how does it feel? You can also try a sister size like a 32DD

I was in M&S, I did do the scooping, there were fat bulges under my arms too. I tried it on back to front first and it felt ok. my chest measurement is just over 30" - it's about 30.5, does that make a difference?

armpit bulges are a sign the cup was too small. and there have also been reports of marks and Spencer sizing being even more useless than normal recently so I would try going somewhere which sells a range of brands like John Lewis or debenhams. you shouldn't need a 32
