Charm bracelets

Need help finding somewhere good to buy a charm bracelet and charms from.

I have a specific style of bracelet in mind, so not the Pandora style ones. I used to have a bracelet like this when I was a teen, but it's gone missing.

I want this new one to last - the idea is that DS and DC2 will be able to give me charms in the future to add to it. So need it to be good quality, and preferably silver - I react to almost everything else.

I also would like a charm to start it off, but struggling to find non-pandora ones.

Any recommendations?

What is your budget? I have a Links one which is really weighty without being chunky, and you can get charms from outlet stores (they have one at Bicester Village) as well as in their sales which can make them very good value.

Not too much, bearing in mind in the future I'd like my DC to be able to add to it without spending all their money on me.

Oh wow, the Links stuff is nice, but a bit pricey.

try Lilycharmed, they have beautiful charms, I bought myself a little star recently to add to my old charm bracelet.
