An HoC age question

My MiL is thinking about booking a style day.
She already knows her season, had her colours done several years ago. In fact it was seeing her looking so good in hers that convinced me to get mine done a few months ago.

But she says she's feeling really lost now that she's older style wise. To me she looks pretty good, definitely more Lulu/Twiggy than the frumpy granny she thinks she looks, but her confidence does need a boost.
Hence her considering a style day. But she's really nervous of either feeling a fool if the others she ends up with on the day are all much younger, she's thought too vain at her age ( she's 68) or should know what's appropriate, or the consultant is a bit nonplussed at having someone so decrepit ( her words not mine! ). She's far from that!

What do you think? Would she be ok?

I'm sure she'd be fine! My consultant said she had a lady in her 70's do the style day and then they followed it up with a personal shopping day.

Why should age matter? Good for her! Tell her to go for it Smile

Plus the consultant will be really pleased as all your mums friends will want to know how come she's looking so good and she may get extra work via recommendations. Win win really!

I'm a HoC consultant and plenty of my clients are that age(and older). No need at all to feel awkward or strange about it. I had an 86 year old client recently ShockGrin

Oh, that's really encouraging, especially coming from a consultant. Smile
Thank you, I'll tell her.
