Help help! It's a good friend's wedding next Saturday and I'm doing a reading in church so really want to look my best. Have failed miserably to get my arse in gear and do exercise and have spend half term eating non stop Blush so I need a miracle to make me look lovely in the dress I need to wear (v lovely designer teal silk strapless number worn once in the past for my brother in law's wedding 2 years ago when I only had one child and was managing to go to the gym 3x a week [smile[)

slightly horrified by the £84 price tag for the item I think I may need from spanx website but prepared to spend it if it really will make me look slimmer. Then I've seen loads of other websites/brands and am totally confused. Just want to suck in my bum/thighs a bit and flatten my tummy (which is not all that fat but devoid of muscle tone)

I'm a size 10 with 30E boobs so hoping I'm not asking for a miracle

Love Spanx, way better than other brands IMO.

Debenhams own make are good, I have the whole body thing that you can wear your own bra with. Love it and half the price of spanx!

My local TK Maxx has Spanx stuff in at the moment so maybe worth checking out

Whatever you do:

1: Don't get the ones with the opening. Horrible medical-looking garment with all your bits hanging out in the middle - not a good look.

2: Ensure you get the right size and if they shrink, don't wear them. I gave myself internal bleeding wearing Spanx a size (or so) too small. And the welts on the tops of my legs took days to go down.

Other than that, Spanx are great Grin

... oh, and maybe a light spray tan would make you feel a bit more confident?

TK Maxx £15 at the mo!
