A great winter hat?

I need a hat. Not a smart one but one for walking dogs and tending to horses/generally messing around outside during winter. I often wear baseball caps (sorry) or wooly hats or a hood. I wonder if there is anything warm, maybe waterproof but also attractive or cool.

I'm not into pretty/girly/smart (no chance!) but more surfy/country/outdoorsy/equine style.

Has anyone seen anything or shall I stick with what I have?

I have this, also wear woolly hats but this is extra warm with the fur and ear flaps. It's something a bit different from the usual bobble hat!

Ooh I love that! Exactly the thing, thanks. Is it waterproof at all, it looks like it might be?

Yep it's waterproof, when I was Googling for a link it looked fake leather on some websites but the one I have is like in the picture and a sort of dark blue material.

I also wear headbands quite a bit, have a really nice furry one which came from a local ski shop but is a bit like this one

I have a Barbour waxed baseball cap - not really warm but waterproof and about as stylish and outdoorsy as a baseball cap gets!
