Girls boots - I'm overthinking this .... sort me out!

DTs need boots. I had narrowed down to purple and fuschia Lelli Kelly's. Then we got gorgeous red velvet shorts which the Fuschia sure as heck won't go with and I'm not sure about the purple as one website describes it as more of a deep fuschia or wine colour. The boots are to be their winter staple so need to go with dresses as well as casual wear. Now I don't know what colour to look to ....

DT1 has purple, red, orange, navy as main pieces (dresses, skirts, trousers). DT2's colours are red, purple, grey, mauvey pink, really bright yellow.

Clarks have a long purple boot and this is the 'purple' LK boot.

Maybe I need to forget purple though we had one purple pair last year and they went with everything.

Colour suggestions on a postcard please - although I don't want black!!

You lost me at having different 'colours' for your DDs (and I have 2 dds!)

How old are they? Can they choose?

Otherwise, I'd get something brown, grey or metallic that goes with everything and is hard wearing.

And yes, you are over thinking it- little girls not matching is really not a problem

My dd has some boots by petasil which are lovely.

Also ecco and ricosta do boots, go to a nice independent shoe shop.

Fly do children's boots as well.

Depends what sizes and what your budget is.

I saw some lovely patent red kids Dr martens the other day.

My dd has these in a blue/purple colour and they are lovely.

She also has these in red ams before that had a similar pair in pea green.' They are great shoes and last well, very soft leather, I really like them.

Dd has a pair of short ankle boots in blue/purple and shoes Mary jane style in red.

Its the kaz boots dd has and the claret shoes, previously she has the campus shoes in green.

Have you tried Livie & Luca? They have some gorgeous boots in great colours. I love the petal ones and Rex :)

Yep, definitely over-thinking it. Maybe Tether's is right - let them choose. And I'll just give up trying to match everything because that's mission impossible!

I've just spotted that M&S have 20p/c off their shoes and boots until tomorrow. Found the perfect pair for DD2 - much nicer than anything Clarks have to offer (and half the price). lovely

I bought these for dd a couple of weeks ago they go with pretty much all of her winter wardrobe and will keep her feet warm when it's cold

Nice links ladies! AQ sorry you're still looking too! Great finds on Amazon - I looked for Agatha on there a few weeks ago but didn't pull some of those up. Have decided to heck with the colour. They are going to be shown four/five pairs before dinner, can pick and I will order and cross my fingers that they fit. Have given myself a headache over it. They've done very well for clothes this past few weeks (darn you Johnnie B!) so this is the end of the spending on them. Next, the boys need footwear

How does that work AQ - my inbox is full of Amazon promotional emails and not one mention of 20% off! Sadly, neither girl wants the Agatha Ruiz boots. DT1 has chosen Lelli Kelly and DT2 chose Clarks but they're out of stock in her size (locally and online) and Customer Services say they aren't getting any more in. She said she now wants 'the red ones'. Which red ones .

Johnny must've had a good week! I need to sneak back for some tights and a top to go with his odd purple colour which doesn't look like in any other store.

Google amazon clothing subscription. You get a code emailed good for 5 pairs of shoes. Got ds1 some nice merrell boots last week. Amazon do Clarks too. Are you Tamba member as its 20% discount weekend for Clarks.

Thanks guys. I wass a Tamba member when the girls were younger and let membership lapse when the boys ceased getting their school shoes in Clarks - however, having spent hundreds in Clarks in August I thought about renewing it!

DT2 now doesn't want the purple Clarks boots which I have found on a website I've ordered through before. Grrr. She is back to LK shiney boots like her sister. I'm dizzy and am considering it sorted - no more asking, no more looking, just decide on size and order!
