Should i buy my normal clothes size or one size up? ( will they sag if i do that?)
Can anyone recommend a particular brand? I've been checking out some Adidas ones...

Any spandexy advice greatly appreciated Wink

I like Nike dri fit running tights, Capri or full length. I wear my usual size and they are a good fit although I tend to need to tie the drawstring at the waist. I usually buy them via amazon, or occasionally the dire experience that is my local sports direct. They are a bit pricey but last years.

Normal size. I buy cheapo Karrimor ones online from Sports Direct, and they are fine - in fact the rear pocket is the best I've found

I recently bought some in Sainsburys and they seem fine. I agree though Nike dri fit are good but ££££

Mine are also the Nike DriFit ones (full length). I wear them in my usual size. In fact I think they may just be sized S/M/L, actually.

I also have a couple of pairs of New Balance capris. They're ok but not a patch on the Nike's for support

I have new balance, they've been fine, normally Truro get them on a deal from amazon. The medium comes up like a 12.

Why are they called running tights?

I mean, they are leggings aren't they? They don't have feet on.

They're often thicker and more opaque than non-running leggings.

UsedToBeNDP · 01/11/2013 13:20

Yes and are made from technical fabrics that wick moisture away from the skin.

I have no idea why they're called tights.

LittleTulip · 01/11/2013 13:23

I have a lovely pair of asics running tights but had to go up a size

Skinheadmermaid · 01/11/2013 13:37

Ah thanks everyone for the replies.
I'll have a look at the nike ones as my butt needs a lot of support.
Unless....do they make bum bras?

I bought some thermal More Miles ones from Start Fitness, they are very toasty. Sizing was true to size. They aren't probably as good as Nike or Adidas but they usually have special offers on and I got them for £15 so can't complain.
