Perfume recommendations

Hi

I really fancy wearing a new perfume. I have some money left over from my birthday and want to treat myself. I often smell perfumes on other women that are just amazing - ones that are quite strong and just seem to create a real presence around the woman wearing them (does that make sense?) No idea what any of them are though. I probably should just ask!

Can anybody recommend something that they find lasts well and always gets positive comments from others? Perfumes that I've worn in the past that are particular favourites are Chanel Allure, Estée Lauder Sensuous, Paul Smith Rose, Cacharel Noa, etc.

Oh it is heavenly Merlin! If you can get yourself to a Penhaligon shop to smell it I highly recommend it. They have lots of other fragrances but that is my favourite and well worth the money I think.

I have located some nearby stockists and am going to get myself to one ASAP for a sniff!

I like agent provocateur perfumes. Do just the job, smell amazing. You can get samples from eBay. I like their signature one which comes in a pink round bottle. Everyone comments on it. Buy a sample and have a sniff!

I have found men always comment on Ralph Lauren romance, women always comment on Benefit garden of eve - both very affordable and last all day

Sarah Jessica Parker Lovely always gets good reviews on the perfume blogs, etc.
