I read wonderful things about retinoids/retinol-A on here although I am far too much of a coward to mix my own like some of you alchemists. So I have been using philosophy miracle worker; once a week and now twice a week. So far, so good for the top 95% of my face but I seem to be getting spots on my jawline - just one at a time, but proper spots like the ones that made me decide that even the duty free saving was not enough to persist with Dior Capture night cream, years ago.
Is this a transitional effect? If so, when will it stop (please)? Is there a chance that it is the moisturiser that came in the starter pack (miracle worker anti-ageing moisturiser) so if I stop that I can keep with the magic potion bit?
