How to wear this New Look top?

Just bought this top from New Look online.

It is lovely but totally sheer and I have no idea what to wear underneath it!

Don't want to look mutton-y or indeed display any underwear unnecessarily.

Any ideas?

So pretty!! Just wear a silk or satin slip? In nude?

Probably a vest with thin straps would look best- don't let your bra strap show though, it will cheapen it.

What u wearing on your bottom half?

Thanks for ideas. Have a couple of strappy white vest tops but they are a bit thin and see through. Anywhere selling thicker vest tops at the moment? Or yes maybe silk/satin slip would work. Haven't got anything like that though. Will have to have a nose round the shops.

black skinnies and heels to dress it up for eve wear.

There's some nice black skinnies around at the mo with like a sheen to them....kind of "going out jeans"...I actually saw a really nice pair in sainsburys yesterday, by gok. It's 25% off at the mo. also, Zara do nice ones.

DD1 would put her nude strapless moulded bra and then an appropriate coloured vest top under that.

As mamma digging deep says, tops like that work best if your bra doesn't show, vest tops tend to have much narrower more discrete straps.

H&M is always my "go to" place for vest tops

So: Strapless bra + plain vest top under. Dark charcoal grey 7 for all mankind skinnies and skyscraper heels. Sound OK?
