Best place to replace zip on boots?

Hi, bought a pair of boots from Clarks in January, went to put them on yesterday and the zip is broken.

Would I be better off going to a shoe repairer (theres one in the shopping centre that also does key cutting etc) or do Clarks do repairs themselves?

In the past if something like this has happened I've just slung out the boots, but these were £90 (though I had a discount code) which is about 3 x more than I've ever paid before Blush

Try Timpsons. I had a pair of knee high boots I loved and the zip broke after a few years. The lovely man in Timpsons replaced it for about £15 and they are still going strong three years later. In your case though I might be tempted to take them back to Clarks if you've not worn them much? They may be faulty?

Duo repaired the zip on my Duo boots. Might be worth calling them to ask where they send them. They did a really good job.

Go back to clarks they may offer to repair them.

Thanks, I have emailed Clarks to ask them about repairing them.

If they still look quite new I would take them to Clarkd and ask them to send them for repair. May take a while to get them back though.

Timpsons quoted me £40 per zip on my boots. Sad
