Length of skirts as you get older?

I am wondering if I can still get away with short skirts now I'm a mum and 33. I have a few great skirts I wear in the winter with woolly tights, ankle boots and a sweater but I've got them out this winter (the first winter I'm back to preDC weight) and I wonder if I am too old for them now?

My legs are my best bit really, despite being short I'm a size 8 so reasonably in proportion. My favourite skirt is just above the half wway mark between crotch and knee, so pretty short. Am I too old for that now?

How do you know they were glaring at you TwoPeas? They might just have bitchy resting faces...I never take looks people give me personally cos I can never be sure it's genuinely aimed at me.
