I'm nearly 50, combination skin, pigmentation on the side of both cheeks, bit red on cheeks and chin and seeing general slackening but not wrinkly.

AM
Decleor micellar water
Hydraluron (bought it yesterday - feels good)
Elemis Procollagen marine cream - love the texture for my combo skin

PM
Alpha H Balancing cleanser - twice - hot flannel to remove
Decleor rose/sometimes iris/sometimes neroli night balm or Alpha H Liquid Gold alternate nights

Would like to add peptabright in for the pigmentation but worried if that would make the Liquid Gold too much.

I really appreciate any advice, I think I have the basics right and follow Caroline Hirons' advice generally. The only thing I don't do is use an exfoliating toner as I use Liquid Gold 3x a week.

I'm not a guru but have similar skin and routine to yours.

You could try changing PCMC to something else. I can't use it as it has silicone in. If you want to keep using it make sure it's last in your routine as anything you out on top wont absorb.

Have you tried Alpha H liquid gold mask? It's lovely, I use once or twice a week to help the pigmentation I have on my cheekbones & forehead.

My routine:
Am:
Alpha H balancing cleanser
Judith Williams Moisture Miracle (basically a hylauronic acid serum)
Avon serum for pigmentation (not great - wouldn't buy again)
Eye cream
Moisturiser - have a couple of ones I've used but can't decide on a favourite at the moment.

PM:
Alpha H cleansing oil (it's a balm really though) then superdrug radiant or vitamin e hot cloth
Moisture miracle
Alpha H 10% glycolic rejuvenating cream

Twice a week I use liquid gold and once a week decleor neroli balm.

Thanks Jemima I'll look into the LG mask. Masks are something I'm a bit lazy about as I've never found one to make a difference. I had no idea PCMC was silicone-based - I really love the texture - now I see why! Luckily it's the last step so will use it up and look for something else afterwards.

I'd like to try Judith Williams stuff, it has great reviews.

I bought my rose balm at £32 for 50ml from amazon last week - it's a lovely texture.

Your routine looks great! :)

You're welcome :)
I like the LG mask as its only 10 minutes so easy enough to fit it and I can always tell a difference afterwards.
PCMC may not be silicone based but definitely has it in. Elemis maximum moisture day cream is far nicer IMO although not sure if that has silicone in.

I've not tried the rose balm although it was recommended to me to use when not using neroli.

If you like alpha h the essential hydration cream is a nice day cream (non glycolic).

Thanks will check out the Alpha H moisturiser.
