So which eye primer now?

After trying many eye primers that didn't work I bought the highly rated Urban Decay - absolutely brilliant, eye makeup stayed in place - BUT, after a week of using it, my eyes are dry and sore and gritty feeling , so what now?
Any recommendations?

NARS eye primer is fab. Perhaps you can score a sample if you tell the SA about the reaction you had to UD.

I just take my foundation over my eye area and I find my eye make up never moves.

Primer is just basically silicone which is in most foundations anyway.

I suppose a lot depend on your skin type though, but it has always worked for me.

I really couldn't comment on how it compares with other such products but I use benefit lemonaid and it works for me just fine.

That's useful about the free sample Zachary as I can't really afford to keep spending out on primers that may or may not suit me.

Smashbox make a good eye primer too, and they definitely have sample sachets.

I use the superdrug mua one for a couple of quid (plus put foundation over eyelids as another poster suggested) then urban decay spray to set.

This is my favourite, and a bargain at £1.50 - I prefer it to the Urban Decay primer

I just splashed out for the Urban Decay primer yesterday. So far it seems wonderful. I really hope I'm not in your boat next week...
