As a much older mnetter I have dds in late 20s early 30s, looking at perfumes or candles I havent a clue what is latest trends. If anyone would be kind enough to ploint me in the right direction of what is really desirable.

diptyque is gorgeous and a bit different if you are planning on spending a bit - I am 28 and I love their signature fragrance (called 34) and have also got their philosykos in both perfume and candle format! Thye do lots of candles in smaller sizes which are more affordable too. I like that not everyone else smells like their stuff and the packaging/bottles etc are so luxurious they make a lovely gift.

Marc Jacobs Daisy is nice too and comes in a funky bottle; if you are looking for something more funky Korres do gorgeous, eco-friendly perfumes, body wash, soaps etc in lovely packaging and lots of different smells to choose from.

I think Diptyque is a safe choice for any age. Available at Space NK.
