Bugger dd8 crying as ears have closed up

Got them pierced on the last day of term in July. I'm my ignorance I thought the 6 week hols was enough healing time and I knew primary school won't allow earrings at all, so she's worn them just on weekends that we've remembered to put them in.

So plan was to wear them all of half term but now it looks like the middle has healed on one and the other has almost completely healed.

She stressing there'll be scars and she won't be able to get the same place redone and I'm clueless and just wish I'd said no in the first place but never thought 6 weeks wouldn't be long enough.

Is any of what she's stressing about true?

I can't see any reason why they can't be redone.

I remember mine healing over and forcing the stud back through myself (not recommended although they've been fine ever since and no weird scarring).

You can buy numbing cream (can't remember the word in looking for) that you can pop on ears so it won't hurt if you push stud bavk through, my friend used it on her dd when hers started to close up, if they have only just started to close might be worth a try!

My dd first earrings where kept in for 6 months before I allowed them to even change them, 6 weeks is just not enough, but them mind are allowed them at school, in fact I have never heard of a school that won't allow them, what about different ethnic groups that have children's ears done as babies, are they not allowed them either ? Xx

She will definitely be able to have them repierced over the same holes, I speak from experience.
Why on earth can't they wear plain studs in school?
