What colour top with these please?

DTs (5) have asked for shorts and have, unfortunately, decided they both want these in Candy Apple Red. I don't want them in matching outfits so any advice please on tights/tops so that they end up with two different outfits? Have a feeling the red will be limiting but maybe you lot will prove me wrong?

Ooh, nice! How about black or charcoal tights (with black patent ankle boots?), a dark teal top and a nice aran type cream cardigan? That would look gorgeous.
Alternatively, combos of cream, emerald and black or charcoal would look nice too!! :)

Thanks! Great ideas and lovely links. Not sure though - definitely don't want both girls dressed the same or similar. It seems like the choice of colour to contrast is quite limited. Think I'll order two red pairs and one in the dark green - maybe one of the girls can be convinced to change her mind!
