Please give me your thoughts on fake leather jackets?

I've found a leather jacket I really like - it is actually fake leather - I do really like it but being a leather virgin IYSWIM I don't know if it will look cheap or not. Are there different degrees of fake leather? to me it looks like leather but I'm not really that informed on the subject!! N.B. a real leather one is out of my price range

In those photo both Peru drugs girls are wearing the jacket at different times, do you think they both had one or did they share it?

I have a pleather jacket from lipsy that I bought in 2007. Still looks great and people are always surprised it's not real leather. It depends on what you wear with it and the style of it I think?

They swapped clothes Hooj. Because they only had one set of clothes each and no opportunity to wash them or change. I think it was a sad attempt to look as though they were holding up better than they were

Ah, yes, I see. Do you think it is actually the same jacket? Is it in H&M? Is it amazingly cheap, almost as if they've had trouble shifting it?

TK Maxx is great for real leather at affordable prices. I've got a Michael Kors biker in lovely soft leather for the same price as the one you've linked to.

I tend to be a bit wary of fake leather, but I have been tempted by some I've seen recently. Very realistic looking. Can't tell from the picture if that one is though, sorry.

Is that the price? I think that's a lot for pleather unless it's seriously special which is impossible to tell without seeing it IRL. I'd have a look at somewhere like TKMax if I were you, see what's out there in real leather. I love leather, my jacket smells lovely and is soft and flexible, far more so than the fake one I had before.

I got the motocross one from Tesco (sorry can't link from phone) for £32! I have the brown as I can't really wear solid black around my face. Wore it out last week and nobody could believe it was fake, never mind from Tesco! It's fully lined and a really flattering shape. Definitely a good buy
