My wardrobe needs colour

It's all black and navy. The occasional bit of colour is just plain red or plain blue. I desperately need pattern or brightness. I know it's the wrong time of year but where (on the high st) do you suggest?

I'm abroad so can't suggest specific things in shops at the moment but I think most high street shops will have bright/patterned stuff in. It depends on budget and style etc. and how brave you are! TopShop and H&M always seem to have plenty of brightly patterned basics and accessories to start you off.

Maybe ease yourself into it gently with scarves or cardigans before embarking on full rainbow outfits?!
