I'm about to order some Fly ankle boots, does anyone know what the sizing is like? Do they come true to size?

I just got some mid calf boots from Fly and they are a spacious seven, ie comfy but not too close-fitting or flopping-off. Hope that helps!!

I have 2 pairs of the plain simple knee length ones. True to size in length but tricky if you have a high instep as quite shallow IMO. Also don't bother if your calves are somewhat athletic or chunky as they're quite snug on the leg. I couldn't do them up when pregnant even though I didn't have too much water retention,

They do soften up beautifully though. I've had mine about 4yrs and they're now very comfy.

Sorry, just realised you're looking at ankle boots.

BikeRunSki · 22/10/2013 18:27

I'd say they were a bit small.

derektheladyhamster · 22/10/2013 18:29

I don't think I have a high instep, and oops, my finger accidentally clicked buy it now! Still £23 off was too much of a bargain even though I really shouldn't have

I'm usually a 6.5 so I've ordered a 7

I am a 41 and my fly boots in a 41 fit perfectly so I would say they are true to size.

SnakeyMcBadass · 22/10/2013 18:38

I couldn't get any Fly boots on when I tried in Schuh. I don't think I have a particularly high instep, but my hooves just would not fit :(

mewkins · 22/10/2013 19:05

I am a 5.5 but ordered a 6 and they fit fine.

DurhamDurham · 22/10/2013 19:09

I'm a 4 and ordered a 4 from Amazon, they fit fine. V comfy.

ColouringInQueen · 22/10/2013 19:20

Cool. Do you mind revealing which site is offering a discount - I've been looking at some but £££ :)

mejon · 22/10/2013 20:32

I always thought they were small for size so have just bought some in a 5 from Javari. They're a tiny bit big so I should maybe have gone for my usual size 4. It does mean I'll have room for extra socks when it gets cold though. I'd like to know where you're getting them from as I've just had to return a 2nd wrongly sized pair to Javari.

If you sign up to the amazon fashion emails, they give you a 20% off. Mine came in at just under £60

Looking at the reviews for the suede ones, I've gone for a 6 (I'm a 6.5 normally)
