Since having DC 2+yrs ago I haven't bothered with make-up but now I want to wear some again and have no idea what is good and what isn't.

I have porcelain skin with dry/normal skin. I have green eyes and brown hair.

Suggestions please :)

with your colouring, bronzes and golden browns would be amazing on the eyes.. possibly bronzish/ peachy lipcolours.. maybe start with a cheap range such as MUA in Superdrug so you can experiment without making costly mistakes.. how lucky to have porcelain skin! don't cover it up too much!

If you're willing to splash out, urban decay eyeshadows are 100% worth it, they stay bright all day and never crease or smudge. All the rest of my make up is the cheaper brands...

Eyelash curlers & mascara always good. You could try out some sparkle gold eyeshadow or an eye pencil.

How about getting a makeover at a counter. Bobbi Brown gets my vote

Purple eyeshadow and plum mascara look amazing with green or green/blue eyes.

Max Factor do a nice purple eyeshadow that I use (I have blue/green eyes) and I use Benefits Plum BadGal mascara. I don't use both at the same time though, one or the other, never both together as you end up looking bruised!

Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation. I used to use Chanel and Clarins but imo thus is better for my normal/dry fair skin.

And Max Factor False Lash Fusion mascara

I second a makeover. I recently had one at Bobbi brown (but the make up is expensive) - told them how I wanted to look/ what I wanted from makeup and they made my face look like a nicer version of me.
